Lithographic printing is sometimes called chemical printing, which means that the printed image is on the same plane as the printed plate. It is based on the principle of "oil-water immiscibility" to achieve printing. This type of printing is to render an image on a stone or metal surface by mechanical or manual means, and then chemically treat the surface so that part of the image is ink-friendly, while the other blank parts are not ink-friendly. When printing, only the inky image part is transferred to the paper to form the impression. Photographic printing, lithographic printing and offset printing are lithographic printing.
